2. Large Scale Youth Event was organized on Zlatibor from 12-14th December 2018, for 40 students participants of the project Enhancing Montenegrin & Serbian Entrepreneurship and TourismeMEETs. This project involves 20 students from Serbia and 20 from Montenegro and provides support in entrepreneurial skills development and introduction with good practice examples in EU countries (mobility schemes in Spain and Germany) for those who intend to start business in tourism or interconnected sectors.

Zlatibor workshop was focused on business planning and business ideas development, with the aim to introduce participants with the process, especially with opportunities for fundraising. In addition, young successful entrepreneurs from Zlatibor District shared their experience and provided useful advices related to starting business in tourism, promotion and potential sources of funding.

As additional support that will be available in future for existing and potential entrepreneurs in tourism, LANDS project has been presented. It was particularly interesting for students from Northern Montenegro, where rural tourism become very popular in the last years and many additional contents are developing with the aim to attract tourists interested in this kind of vacation. In the scope of LANDS project, 2 programmes will be created, and will contain courses on household management, as well as courses related to tourism offer improvement through tourist animation contents.  So, young people interested in this sector will have professional support in the process of starting business in rural/agritourism.

Since eMEETS project foresees creation of e-learning platform that will be accessible after project completion in August, 2019, LANDS courses that will be developed represent an important resource that may bring added value to the learning platform.

This presentation is important since it shows synergy of 2 projects funded by Erasmus+ Programme: eMEETS – financed in the scope of building capacities in the field of youth and LANDS project – financed from the component capacity building in the field of higher education.
